Grizzlies-Warriors Pre-Game Three-Pointer

The Grizzlies host the Golden State Warriors tonight at FedExForum for their second home regular-season game. A few things to think about:

1. Can the Grizzlies Score Enough to Win?: The Warriors have topped 100 points in all three games of their games. The Grizzlies have yet to top 86. That’s a lot of points to make up, and the team’s much-improved defense can’t do it alone. The Grizzlies finally cracked the 40% shooting in their 86-96 loss to the Chicago Bulls Saturday night, but the offense still doesn’t seem to have an apparent strategy beyond getting the ball to Rudy Gay and O.J. Mayo. The Warriors are likely to be the weakest defensive team the Griz have played so far this season. Hopefully that will combine with more offensive development to help the Grizzlies break 90 points for the first time this season. Hard to see them having a chance to win this game otherwise.
